Introduction

The Credential Issuer [Dev2 version: https://issuer.dome-marketplace-dev2.org/] is a crucial element in the onboarding process for new users to the DOME Marketplace. This application issues Verifiable Credentials, which are essential for accessing and interacting with the DOME Marketplace. These credentials are issued to users who then use the DOME Digital Wallet [Dev2 version: https://wallet.dome-marketplace-dev2.org/] to retrieve and store them securely.

 

At the moment two different types of credential can be issued with the Issuer: LEAR Credential Employee and LEAR Credential Machine. Additionally, Gx-Label Credentials can be issued via API. To learn how to issue each type of credential, consult the Credential Issuance article.
